QMobius, Inc. Launches a New Type of Agency

Firm blends communications and marketing with unique real world business perspective

(April 7, 2008) DALLAS – QMobius, Inc., a Dallas-based communications and brand marketing firm, today announced its national launch with a team of more than 60 professionals in 30 U.S. markets.

“We’re launching with some of the best and brightest minds in communications, public affairs and brand marketing,” said CEO Carolyn Covey Morris.

The QMobius team is unique because all of its senior counselors have held top executive positions in leading Fortune 500 companies such as JCPenney, 7-Eleven, Sabre/Travelocity, EDS, Atmos Energy, A.T. Kearney and others. Many of its team members also worked in top global public relations and advertising agencies such as Burson-Marsteller, Edelman, Ketchum and Publicis.

“We bring the best of both worlds to our clients,” said Covey Morris. “QMobius has been formed to rethink agencies from the client’s perspective, and we want to develop a new type of firm that would deliver better results for clients while offering an improved environment for professionals to contribute, develop and collaborate.”

Because of team members’ extensive experience, there is a strong emphasis on crafting and executing creative and effective strategies that make business sense.

“Were business people first,” explained Covey Morris. “We know first-hand what our clients are facing, and we make their lives easier. Collaboration, good stewardship of time and resources, and understanding of their needs make all that possible.”

QMobius offers a variety of services in areas such as brand strategy, public relations, marketing, corporate communications, investor relations, crisis management, corporate social responsibility and creative services. The firm serves local, national and global clients.

About the QMobius Name
The QMobius name is a combination of the words “qualia,” which describes how sensory experiences are influenced by our perceptions and point-of-view, and “mobius,” the looping ring of infinity where both sides are inside and out at the same time. It reminds QMobius team members to bring fresh thinking and look at every side of an opportunity, long and short term, with a continuous commitment to clients.

Practicing What We Preach: QMobius’ Highlights Its Commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility

Supporting our Environment
(January 28, 2011) At QMobius, we have a commitment to tread as lightly on this earth as possible. We consider the environment when making decisions for our company and when making recommendations to our clients. Corporate social responsibility and stakeholder engagement are key facets of our offering, and we’ve seen the benefits of smart environmental strategies.

We actively seek and select options with the least environmental impact. We encourage recycling and sharing of documents electronically to reduce paper waste. When presenting materials to clients, we use 100% recycled paper products. And rather than relying on petroleum based inks, we use soy based inks for our printing needs.

QMobius has flexible work hours to minimize travel during peak times, and many members of our team work at least part time out of home offices, which reduces greenhouse gas emissions.

Supporting our Community
QMobius has a commitment to be involved in our communities. Our team members, who are based in more than 30 U.S. cities, can be found serving as mentors, board members for nonprofits, university instructors, participants in the arts, volunteers with youth organizations and much more.

Supporting our People
QMobius values the amazing diversity that our communities hold, and it is a critical part of our collaborative spirit. Diversity of people, cultures and ideas enriches our relationships with clients and team members. It allows us to provide the innovative and effective services that our clients want and the supportive and empowering environment our team members need.
